| 目的 研究公立专科（肿瘤、口腔、儿童、妇产、精神）医院医疗床位和人员的适宜规模，辅助政府调控和医院管理决策。方法 分析7省市101所公立二、三级专科医院与846所综合医院的实有床位和在职职工数及其数量关系，结合综合医院的适宜规模，使用比值法计算专科医院的适宜规模。结果 研究分别得到了三级和二级肿瘤、口腔、儿童、妇产、精神专科医院的床位、人员适宜规模。结论 研究建立了公立二、三级专科医院适宜规模的计算方法，所得结果可以供医院管理者参考，政府有关部门可据此调控公立专科医院的发展规模和速度，以达到控制成本、提高规模经济效率的目的。 |

| Study on the Appropriate Economic Scales of the Seconday and Tertiary Public Specialized Hospitals in China |

Objective
To research the appropriate economic scales for public specialized facilities including tumor，stomatology，children，obstetrics and gynecology and psychiatric hospitals and to provide reference support for hospital managers and government in their decision-making. Method The sample size for the public secondary and tertiary specialized hospitals was 101， while there were 846 public general hospitals included in the study. The ratio of medical beds and staffs in public specialized hospitals to public general hospitals was analyzed. Based upon the previously research results of the appropriate economic scales for public general hospitals on medical beds and staffs，the appropriate economic scales for public specialized hospitals were generated. Result The appropriate scales in terms of medical beds and staffs were computerized for public specialized secondary and tertiary hospitals. Conclusion The method for the appropriate economic scales of public specialized hospitals was developed and the results could be served as references for hospital managers and government bodies so as to improve the efficiency of the return to economic scales of public hospitals. |
