| Through the introduction of the development of American regional health information, meaningful use of electronic health record (EHR) and regional health information organizations, this paper focused on the exploration of problems and challenges existing during the development of regional health information and EHR, in order to promote the development of EHR based regional health information platform establishment in our country. Those challenges included common medical terminology and technical standards, potential economic benefits of EHR and regional health information, safety insurance system of EHR use, regional health information level evaluation and the sustainable development of regional health information organization. |
