Objective To study the effect of concentrated appointment and general control for sickbed. Methods Concentrated appointment and general control were given to 1 429 sickbed of 30 wards in pre-hospital preparation center of Xiangya Hospital Central South University from Mar.2015 to Nov. 2015. Patients admitted to hospital were ordered by reasonable arrangement according to the condition of emergency degree，disease category，appointment and proximity principle. Results The cancel admission rate and average waiting day from Mar.2015 to Nov. 2015 were significantly lower than that of the same period in 2014（P＜0.05），the occupancy rate and patient satisfaction from Mar.2015 to Nov. 2015 were significantly higher than that of the same period in 2014（P＜0.05）. Conclusion Concentrated appointment and general control for sickbed can effectively guarantee full use，reduce the vacancy rate of sickbed，and provide patients with convenient and efficient warmth of nonmedical services.
