| 住院日指标的有效控制，不仅有利于充分利用医疗资源，还能够降低患者负担，同时，帮助医院在不降低诊疗效果和服务质量的前提下，带来经济和社会效益。适当住院日评价方案是用来评价医院床位使用效率的工具。文章复习了近30年文献，介绍其开发和应用过程中取得的阶段性成果，总结经验，为适当住院日评价方案未来在我国的开发和应用提供研究支持。 |

| Abstract: |
| The effective control of hospitalization index can not only take advantage in full medical resource utilization, but also reduce the patients’ burden. Meanwhile it can bring the hospital economic and social benefit when the treatment effect and service quality is not reduced. The Appropriateness Evaluation Protocol(AEP) is used as an assessment tool for hospital bed utilization. The paper goes through relevant articles in the past 30 years，introduces the achievement of AEP research development and application process, summarizes the experience，and gives supportive idea on its development and application in China. |
