| 与赤脚医生时期相同的是，处于乡村医生时期的村医其身份在本质上仍然属于农民；与赤脚医生时期不同的是，乡村医生时期对村医的选拔更为严格和规范；村医接受的培训更为丰富和多样；其所承担的医疗卫生服务更为繁重，但在经济待遇和社会地位上却难觅赤脚医生时期的优越性。因此，在未来的一段时期内，与乡村医生有关的配套改革已是势在必行。 |

| With the same in the period of barefoot doctor, the identity of rural doctor remains belong to farmer in essence. Unlike the period of barefoot doctor, when they entered to the period of rural doctor, the selection condition of rural doctor is higher and more standardized. Its training content of rural doctor is richer and the model is more various. Medical services provided by it are broader and heavier, but its economic treatment and social status are not superior to barefoot doctor. Therefore, in a period of future, the reform related to rural doctor will be imperative. |
