| Abstract: |
Social work is a comprehensive specialized movement to help the public. Its conception can be applied into medical practice in professional values and scientific method by providing patients and their family members with guidance and services, so that they can communicate with hospital more effectively. Moreover, social work also urges medical technology and service to meet patients’ need in a humanistic way. Finally, it can construct a harmonious relationship between the medical association and the patients. In the process, social workers have developed different work strategies and played different work roles according to the different development stages of relationship between doctor and patient. |
